Warranty

Xiarider warrants that every new Xiarider electric off-road motorcycle is covered by our manufacturer's 2-year all-inclusive limited warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. 

This policy sets out the warranty period, claim procedure, covered items, and exclusions. Please read it together with your order agreement and the Return & Refund Policy.

1.Warranty Period & Who It Covers
  • The warranty is registered automatically when the initial purchaser orders the vehicle through our official online store.
  • Coverage is tied to the initial purchaser. The 2-year period begins on the date the original owner receives the vehicle (see Pre-Order note below).

Warranty transfer. A subsequent owner may enjoy the remaining warranty only if both of the following are met at the time of transfer:

  • The 2-year period has not expired since the initial owner received the vehicle.
  • The transferee provides the initial owner's name and the original order number.

Pre-Order Note

All Xiarider motorcycles (K5 & K2) are currently sold on a pre-order basis. The 2-year warranty begins on the date of delivery, not the order or pre-order date. Estimated ship dates are shown on each product page.

2.Warranty Procedure
  • All Xiarider vehicles carry a two (2) year warranty from the date of receipt against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship. All free accessories are not covered.
  • Xiarider will help replace any part that is defective or damaged in material and/or workmanship, including damage sustained during shipment.
  • Xiarider shall have the sole discretion to determine whether a defect or damage to a vehicle or covered component falls under this limited warranty.

3.Warranty Claims

If you believe your Xiarider has a warranty issue, your first point of contact should be the official website or authorized online retailer where you purchased it. Proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product are required with any warranty request.

Before filing a formal claim, we suggest you first contact us at support@xiaridermotor.com — in many cases we can resolve the issue without a full claim. Valid warranty claims are processed through XiaRider for a period of 2 years from the date of original retail purchase.

Xiarider will not ship any replacement parts without first reviewing photos or videos of the damaged product. Evidence must be submitted by email.

Important — Labor & Service Not Covered

Warranty coverage is limited to the replacement of defective parts only. Any customer-incurred fees — including but not limited to installation, labor, mechanic shop charges, diagnostics, or service fees — are not covered and will not be reimbursed. The bicycle's owner is responsible for the shipping costs of spare parts sent for warranty service, except where the defect is a shipping-damage claim (see Section 4).

4.Shipping Damage Claims

In rare cases, a product may be damaged in transit. If shipping damage occurs, contact support@xiaridermotor.com and provide photos or videos as evidence.

Notice: We only accept shipping damage claims within seven (7) days of your receipt of the vehicle. Inspect your vehicle immediately upon delivery.

All free accessories are not covered for replacement or compensation if they show only scratches during transportation.

Split-Shipment Models

Several Xiarider models ship in two separate packages (vehicle and battery) due to carrier weight limits and lithium-battery safety regulations (UL 2272 / UL 2271). For shipping-damage claims on these models, inspect both packages on arrival and document any damage to either the vehicle or the battery package within 7 days.

5.Covered Items

Frame

Xiarider frames are warranted for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. A defective frame can be replaced with a new one under this limited warranty; labor charges for frame replacement are not covered. Xiarider reserves the right to use scratch-and-dent stock when replacing a frame, and may replace it with the same or most nearly comparable frame at our discretion.

Frame issues not covered include, but are not limited to:

  • Corrosion
  • Paint fade, scratches, impact marks
  • Impact damage
  • Non-reversible modification (drilling/welding)

Batteries

While the vehicle, frame, and components are covered for 2 years, Xiarider batteries are covered by a separate 1-year limited warranty, reflecting the wear characteristics of lithium battery cells.

  • Within the 1-year service period, a defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer.
  • The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on the original purchase date.
  • No cash reimbursement will be made.
  • Assessment of a defective battery is at the sole discretion of Xiarider.

Parts & Components

Original Xiarider parts & components are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. Any damage caused by the user is not covered. This limited warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of a defective (in materials and/or workmanship) component, including but not limited to:
  • throttle, controller, handlebar, brakes, suspension, wheels, display, wiring harness, kickstand

6.What Is NOT Covered

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, or abnormal use — including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other activities not consistent with the intended off-road, private-property use of the products; improper storage; abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, or dirt; neglect; or abnormal physical, electrical, or electromechanical stress.
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by XiaRider.
  • The product with its serial number or barcode removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible.
  • Ordinary wear and tear.
  • Defects or damage caused by accessories, products, or peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Xiarider.
  • Defects or damage from assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment that varies from the Assembly Instructions & Owner's Manual.
  • Defects or damage from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source.
  • Products used or purchased outside the United States.
  • Any installation, labor, service, diagnostic, or mechanic fees charged by third-party providers.

Wear-and-Tear Parts (Not Covered)

Damage resulting from normal wear and tear (not from defects in workmanship or materials) is not covered. Wear and tear is assessed by Xiarider. Parts explicitly excluded include, but are not limited to:
  • Brake pads
  • Rotors
  • Spokes
  • Tires / tubes
  • Chains
  • Chain rings
  • Cassette
  • Crank set
  • Corrosion on electrical components
  • Damage or deterioration of surface finish, appearance, or cosmetic beauty

Battery-Specific Exclusions

In addition, with respect to the battery, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damage:

  • Caused by charging with a battery charger not intended or appropriate for the battery, or by improper use of a charger.
  • Where any of the battery seals are broken or show evidence of tampering.
  • Where the battery is used in other equipment (not the Xiarider motorcycle).
